Abstract

Contains an order of the Court of Oyer & Terminer held for Halifax County for the valuation of Jack, a slave belonging to Richard Echols. The order includes a note from Richard Echols assigning his certificate to Messrs. Moss Armistead & Company. The order is signed by Thomas Tunstall, D.C., and certified by Robert Payne.
