Abstract

Contains a petition of Thomas Bullitt regarding the disposition of two hundred thousand acres of land claimed by the officers & soldiers for their service during the French & Indian War. According to the petition, Bullitt and some of the other officers did not receive their commissions until after the action of the Meadows in the Campaign of 1754.
