Abstract

Contains a report & resolutions of a Committee of the House of Burgesses regarding the late acts of Parliament imposing duties on tea, paper, glass, etc., for the sole purpose of raising a revenue in America. The resolutions agree to the non-importation of any of the goods, merchandise, or manufactures to be taxed by the act of Parliament. In addition, the resolutions banned the importation of slaves, wines, and numerous other goods.
