Contains proceedings of the Council of State for November 13,20, & 22. The proceedings of November 13 relate to a letter from the Governor of Nova Scotia to divide the neutral French among the colonies, a letter from Mr. Belfour at Hampton regarding the arrival of two vessels with about 390 French with an additional six hundred expected, and a summons for the Council to meet in order to deliberate about the divide of the French within the several counties. The proceedings of November 20 relate to a letter of Governor Lawrence concerning an account of the number of French neutrals now arrived in Hampton Roads and the advice of Council to inquire into the number of families present among the French. Lastly, the proceedings of November 22 relate to the report of Philip Ludwell submitted to the Council regarding the French neutrals, their disposition, and subsistence.
