Abstract

Contains a letter from W[illiam] Beverley, Blanfield, to [Col. John Grymes] regarding his patent for land at Point Comfort. According to Beverely, the government built a fort and other buildings on his land without giving him anything in return. Beverley also states that he would like to sell the land and requests 120 pounds from the governor & Council.
