Abstract

Contains a protest of Capt. Thomas Lyon, Master, & John Millitt, 2nd Mate, of the Ship Lucy & Nancy of Liverpool, before Edward Barradall, Recorder of the City of Williamsburg & justice of the peace of James City County. According to the protest, the ship was sailing from Liverpool to Philadelphia when it anchored off Virginia for provisions and damaged its rudder irons and was lost in bad weather.
