Abstract

Contains a letter of Edward Barradall, Williamsburg, regarding the commissioners' instructions to survey the boundaries of Lord Fairfax's territory in the Northern Neck. In his letter, Barradale explains the powers & duties of the commissioners. Barradall's letter also includes a letter dated Aug. 15, 1736 from "F," Westmoreland, regarding the instructions to the commissioners. Lastly, there is a letter from "W. F." regarding receipt of [Barradall's] letter.
