Abstract

Contains a letter from Edwin Conway to Lieutenant Governor William Gooch regarding his meeting with Joseph Carter, Inspector of Tobacco in Lancaster County. According to Conway, Carter threated to burn more tobacco if he continues as inspector for another year.
