Abstract

Contains a letter of William Beverley regarding the settlement of lands on the Shenandoah River. Beverley writes that he can get a number of people from Pennsylvania to settle on the Shenandoah if he can obtain an order for fifteen thousand acres of land at Massanutting Town from the Council.
