Abstract

Contains a caveat of Robert Carter on behalf of the proprietor of the Northern Neck against a patent for ten thousand acres of land on both sides of Happy Creek joining on the Great Mountains to Larkin Smith, Joseph Smith, William Russell, John Chew, & Larkin Chew, Jr., or others. Also includes a caveat against a patent for six thousand acres in the fork of Leanock Run in Spotsylvania County to Thomas Chew, William Johnson, & George Home, or others. Lastly, there is a caveat against a patent for ten thousand acres of land in the fork of Leanock Run in Spotsylvania County to Larkin Chew, Joseph Smith, Thomas Chew, William Russell, William Johnson, & George Home, or others.
