Abstract

Contains a petition of Benjamin Walker to Lieutenant Governor William Gooch asking that no patent may issue on a survey for 400 acres of land lying on the southside of Polecat Swamp in King William County. According to the petition, this land was surveyed in August 1714 for George Douglas & William Dollin by James Taylor, Surveyor.
