Abstract

Contains a petition of George Ward to Lieutenant Governor Hugh Drysdale asking for 200 acres of land in Essex County which escheated from George Ward's wife Mary. According to the petition, Ward was deprived of his estate by Benjamin Wagonner, but sold this land to William Winston.
