Abstract

Contains a petition of John Jones to Alexander Spotswood, Lieutenant Governor, asking that the patent of John Hunt be stopped on four hundred acres of land of Surry County which was devised by William Hunt to his son Thomas Hunt, deceased. According to the petition, this land was unpattented at the time of William Hunt's death.
