Abstract

Contains an account of his Majesty's revenue of two shillings per hogshead, etc., arising within the colony of Virginia from 25 October 1715 to 25 April 1716. The account includes salaries for various public positions including collectors, the governor, Council, Auditor, Solicitor, Attorney General, Clerk of the Council, Gunner of Jamestown, and others. The account was signed by Nathaniel Harrison, Deputy Receiver General; Phillip Ludwell, Auditor; & Alexander Spotswood.
