Abstract

Contains a letter from G[eorge] Walker to Col. [Edmund] Jenings, President of the Council, regarding the loss of Capt. Cooke's ship. According to the Executive Journals, Capt. Cooke's Ship Garland was lost near the Currituck Inlet on 29 November. Walker also mentions the conduct of the sailors and the absence of officers from the ship.
